Lobby Receptionist

Description

 This position monitors access to RCHD. This position will greet patients, visitors and  healthcare professionals and direct them to the appropriate areas or offices. This position  will insure all visitors and healthcare professionals are signed in with the kiosk system  before visiting any person(s) or area(s). 

Requirements

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

• Strong communication skills. This is the first person guests will encounter in our organization.
• 6 months of healthcare experience preferred, but not required.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. 
• Ability to write simple correspondence. 
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, patients, families and other employees or the organization 
• Handle patient queries and ensure high standards of patient satisfaction 
• Answer incoming calls and provide support as needed 
• The position will also maintain a clean and welcoming reception area. 
• Assist visitors and vendors with the kiosk system 
• Monitor supplies and report technical problems with kiosk to IT.
