Local Driver/Dock Associate

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages and may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position delivers and picks up freight to and from residential and/or commercial properties. The Local Driver/Dock Associate utilizes safe transportation methods to get to and from destinations. This position ensures the best customer service through efficiency and dedication. This position is also responsible for making yard moves within the yard or outside the yard. This is an afternoon/evening position. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading trailers for the purpose of transporting a wide variety of cargo, moving cargo, driving a forklift, or using a pallet jack or other freight for transit.
• Effectively and efficiently operating mobile technology.
• Completing all required paperwork.
• Pick and Delivery of Freight.
• Moving trailers, yard equipment, setting the dock, repositioning equipment, work as instructed.
• Safely operate company equipment
•  Excellent Customer Service and communication.

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Us Citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the US.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Class A CDL in the resident state
• Hazmat endorsement
• Must meet both DOT and Company requirements including eligible background and road test.
