Local Truck Driver

Overview

Local Employer is seeking a Class A Commercial Driver for a local driving position based in Tracy, California. This job involves moving trailers between nearby locations and returning home each day.

Compensation

• Weekly pay: 1,400 to 1,600 dollars per week
• Mileage rate: 0.65 to 0.71 per mile

Schedule

• Night shift
• Home each day after completing the route

Primary Duties

• Operate a Class A tractor and trailer for local transportation.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks.
• Move trailers between designated areas as directed.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding assignments and updates.
• Follow company policies and federal transportation guidelines.
• Maintain basic records for driving and deliveries.

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License
• Recent tractor-trailer driving experience (minimum varies by employer)
• Ability to work night shift
• Good driving record
