Job Description - Location Performance Associate - Full Time

About Brass Sales

Brass Sales is an established distributor serving the manufactured housing, RV, and towing industries throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. We take pride in providing quality products, dependable service, and building lasting relationships with our customers. We are committed to creating a professional, team-oriented workplace where employees can learn, grow, and build a long-term career.

Position Overview

Brass Sales is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Counter Sales Associate to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and staying active throughout the workday.

In this role, you will help customers find the products they need, process orders, maintain inventory, and keep our showroom and sales areas organized. You will receive hands-on training to learn our products and systems. Product knowledge is important, but a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are what matter most.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in person and over the phone with product questions, orders, and recommendations

  • Process customer orders accurately using company computer systems

  • Build positive customer relationships through friendly, professional service

  • Follow up with customers as needed to ensure their needs are met

  • Safely load customer purchases and assist with incoming freight

  • Stock shelves, replenish inventory, and maintain organized product displays

  • Prepare and organize parcel shipments for daily pickup

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front counter and showroom

  • Assist with inventory counts and seasonal merchandising

  • Complete additional tasks and projects as needed to support daily operations

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to take initiative

  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Comfortable using computers and learning new software

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Valid driver's license

  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation, and regularly stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday

Previous retail, counter sales, warehouse, or customer service experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Pay and Benefits

  • Medical insurance

  • Dental insurance

  • Vision insurance

  • Company-paid life insurance

  • Simple IRA retirement plan with company match up to 3%

  • Paid time off (PTO)

  • Six paid holidays per year

  • Uniforms provided for eligible full-time employees

Why Work at Brass Sales?

  • Hands-on training: Learn our products, systems, and processes with support from an experienced team.

  • Variety in your day: Combine customer service, sales, inventory, and hands-on work rather than sitting at a desk all day.

  • Team-oriented environment: Work alongside people who value reliability, cooperation, and helping customers.

  • Opportunity to grow: Develop product knowledge and sales skills with opportunities for increased responsibility and advancement.

  • Established company: Join a stable business with a strong reputation and long-standing customer relationships.

  • Long-term opportunity: Build your skills and grow with a company that values dependable employees.

What We're Looking For

We want someone who takes pride in their work, treats customers and coworkers with respect, and understands the importance of accuracy and follow-through. If you enjoy helping people, learning new things, and being part of a hardworking team, we encourage you to apply.

Join Brass Sales and become part of a team that keeps the manufactured housing, RV, and towing industries moving.
