Job Description - Locator/Inspector

Locator/ Inspector

Pay Range: $20-25hr

Job description: On-site Inspector/ Locator who will maintain the integrity of telecommunication assets, locate telecommunication facilities, provide daily reports to the telecommunication Construction Manager, and work closely with the construction crew monitoring progress and quality.

Locate Services: Inspector/ Locator will be responsible for providing location services for the existing telecommunication facilities (duct, cable, handholes) and monitoring any construction that takes place around telecommunication facilities.

Inspection Services: Inspector/ Locator will be responsible for completing daily and weekly production reports, completing dig-up reports, maintaining sequential fiber placement documentation for newly placed cable, capturing GPS locations for all handholes, and updating KML files in Google Earth. The inspector will also be a liaison for meetings with local municipalities, ROW owners, and property owners.
