We are a fast-growing property management and real estate company seeking a highly organized, dependable, and self-managing individual to join our team. This is a key role focused solely on managing and executing lock changes across our residential and commercial properties.

Position Overview:
The Lock Change Technician is responsible for changing locks to mastered locks, properly filing and organizing all keys, and coordinating lock changes with tenants for occupied units. The ideal candidate must be 100% self-functioning, highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage their own schedule and responsibilities without constant supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily lock changes, ensuring all locks are updated to mastered lock systems.
  
  
• Schedule and coordinate lock change appointments directly with tenants for occupied units.
  
  
• Maintain accurate and secure filing of all keys, ensuring no keys are misplaced or mishandled.
  
  
• Accurately document all lock changes and key assignments in company systems.
  
  
• Perform quality checks to ensure all lock installations are completed properly.
  
  
• Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with tenants and staff.
  
  
• Order and track lock and key inventory as needed.
  
  
• Follow safety protocols and confidentiality requirements at all times.
  
  
• Report to management periodically on work completed and any issues encountered.

Work Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  
  
• Occasional flexibility required based on tenant availability.
  
  

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly rate 20.00/hr.
  
  
• 72 Paid sick time hours / yr. 

Requirements:

• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  
  
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  
  
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  
  
• Ability to manage schedules and coordinate with multiple tenants daily.
  
  
• Prior experience in locksmith work, property maintenance, or related fields is preferred but not required (training can be provided).
  
  
• Must be able to handle sensitive information (keys, locks) with the highest level of integrity.
  
  
• Comfortable using basic technology (smartphone, tablets, scheduling apps).
  
  
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  
  

Ability to lift and handle tools and lock materials.
