Large lock shop locking for a Locksmith. Will train. Benefits include Health Insurance, Paid Vacation & 401K/Pension Plan.

About Us

Suburban Door Check & Lock was started in 1963 by Larry Barrett Sr. with the goal of providing sales and service on all types of locks and door closers for Westmont, IL residents and businesses. Larry had begun his career working for a large locksmith in the Chicago area. When Suburban Lock first opened, the business was small with one service vehicle and Larry ran service calls.

As the business grew, Larry added employees and service vehicles. In 1986, an addition was built onto the existing shop, expanding the square footage to about four times the size. Today the company has 28 employees and 16 service vehicles, and it is still a family owned and operated company.

Our years of experience have shown us the importance of keeping up-to-date in the ever changing lock and hardware industry. We achieve our success by offering guaranteed service and a wide variety of in stock items ranging from residential to electronic hardware.

As a member of the Associate Locksmiths of America (ALOA), we take pride in our work upholding the standards set by our industry. Certified, bonded, and insured by the IDPR, we guarantee both our quality and service.
