Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology

Join a reputable medical facility located in the heart of Mechanicsville, Virginia. This exciting locum opportunity is focused on providing outstanding inpatient cardiology care. The practice setting is hospital-based, catering primarily to adults and geriatric patients. Work alongside skilled interventional cardiologists to manage a diverse range of cases.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient cardiology care for new and follow-up patients.


• Conduct patient rounding, documentation, and discharge planning.


• Coordinate care effectively with the healthcare team.


• Manage an average caseload of 10-15+ patients per day.


• Be available for call coverage on a rotating basis.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified - Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner (required).


• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience (required).


• Ability to work independently alongside an interventional cardiologist.


• Experience in inpatient cardiology settings is highly preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Virginia license (required).


• Current ACLS certification (required).


• Current BLS certification (required).


• Active DEA registration (required).


• Clean background with no malpractice or licensing issues (required).
