Location: Northern Maine close to Canadian boarder
Duration: 3 -6 months, ongoing, starting April 2026. New need: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off starting June 15, 2026.
Shifts: 7am - 3pm
Call: None
Case Types: Endo, GYN, general and urology. Will perform rectous sheaths, QL blocks, Femoral adductor canal blocks, tap blocks, and interscalene blocks.
Credentialing Timeframe: 60 -90 days, but temps are available with a clear background / malpractice and unrestricted license. Applications cannot be started without a Maine license.
Special Requirements: Must have case logs with proof of epidurals, spinals and blocks. ACLS must be AHA.

Job Summary: We are seeking a Locum CRNA to join our client's team in Northern Maine. This contract role offers a stable schedule with no call responsibilities and exposure to a variety of cases including endoscopy, gynecology, general surgery, and urology. This role also provides an opportunity to perform an advanced range of regional anesthesia techniques. Temporary privileges are available for qualified candidates (clear background/malpractice history, and an active, unrestricted license.)
Requirements
â Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on Certification and Re -Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
â Valid, unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in Maine.
â Minimum of 1 -3 years of experience preferred; proficiency in regional anesthesia.
â Strong clinical knowledge and ability to perform anesthesia management for diverse patient populations.
â Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
â Ability to adapt to changing clinical situations and deliver optimal patient care.
â ACLS, BLS and PALS certification required. ACLS must be American Heart Association.
â Applications cannot be started without a Maine license.
