Locum Neurosurgery Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner - Contract - Continuous Learning Opportuni

Our client in Marshfield, Wisconsin is in need of an experienced neurosurgery locum advanced practice provider who can provide ongoing, full-time coverage at their hospital facility. Coverage need is for scheduled hours & call. Assignment details below -

• Position: Locum Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Neurosurgery
• Facility: Hospital in Marshfield, WI
• Pay: $100/hr, call rate to be discussed
• Contract Dates: August 1 - Ongoing (Must have ongoing availability)
• Schedule: Schedule will be 40 hours per week, with 4 – 10h days for 3 weeks alternating with 5 – 8h days for 1 week; Weekend call (Friday-Sunday) once every 5th weekend & week night call (Monday-Thursday) once every 5th week
• Caseload/Duties: Outpatient & Inpatient; average 12 patients per shift; surgical first assist; bedside procedures; rounding independently in all hospital units including NICU, PICU, Peds, ICU (surgical and medical), and general med/surg floor; hospital and ER/UC consults; clinic duties including outpatient consultations, post-operative/post-hospital patient care, fracture care, patient phone calls, medication refills, and FMLA documentation

Allow 60-90 days for Credentialing

• Active Wisconsin Medical License
• 1+ years experience in neurosurgery including surgical cases as APP
• Recent neurosurgery experience
• BLS Certification
• Board Certified
