Locum - Radiation Oncology - MD/DO

Job Opportunity: Locum Radiation Oncologist in Mt Clemens, MI

We are seeking an experienced Radiation Oncologist to join our dedicated team in a dynamic healthcare environment starting December 1, 2026. You will be providing care across two facilities: Karmanos Macomb in Mount Clemens and Karmanos Clarkston. This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule with both clinic hours and on-call responsibilities. The patient population is primarily adult outpatient, with supportive onsite lab and imaging services available.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive radiation oncology services, including 3D radiotherapy, IGRT, and IMRT.


• Perform procedures such as fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy and stereotactic body radiation therapy.


• Order tests and imaging as necessary to support patient diagnosis and treatment.


• Prescribe appropriate treatment regimens based on patient needs.


• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide quality patient care.


• Document patient information accurately in Aria for Radiation Oncology and Cerner for hospital EMR.


• Provide on-call coverage for patient needs after hours.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Radiation Oncology.


• Active Michigan medical license at the time of submission.


• DEA certification.


• Clean malpractice history/background.


• Local providers are preferred.


• Ability to cover both clinical sites as required.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification in Radiation Oncology (Required)


• Active Michigan Medical License (Required)


• DEA Certification (Required)


• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
