Locum - Radiology - MD/DO

Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Radiology in Titusville, FL

Join a dynamic healthcare team at a well-established medical center in Titusville, Florida. The facility offers onsite coverage and utilizes state-of-the-art technology, providing a supportive environment for its medical staff. The Radiologist will work primarily Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, catering to a diverse range of imaging modalities, including XR, CT, MR, US, and Fluoroscopy.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite radiology coverage, performing various imaging procedures.


• Conduct mammography procedures, including needle biopsies and stereotactic breast biopsies.


• Interpret general radiology studies and light interventional radiology procedures, including paracentesis and thoracentesis.


• Complete daily volume expectations of 90-100 cases within an 8-hour shift.


• Utilize EMR system (EPIC) and PACS system (Merge) for patient documentation.


• Engage in light interventional radiology procedures such as biopsies and lumbar punctures.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Radiology.


• Active Florida medical license.


• Current DEA Registration.


• A Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days is mandatory at the time of offer.
