Key Responsibilities:

• Perform adult cardiac surgeries, including but not limited to:
  
  
  
  • CABG (Arterial Revascularization Using Internal Mammary Arteries, Radial Artery; Redo cases)
  
  
  • Heart Valve Repair/Replacement Surgery
  
  
  
  


• Conduct general thoracic surgeries such as:
  
  
  
  • Tube Thoracostomy
  
  
  • Tracheostomy
  
  
  • Bronchoscopy
  
  
  • VATS decortication/lung biopsy
  
  
  • Pericardial Window
  
  
  
  


• Manage ICU care for high-risk patients, including:
  
  
  
  • Impella Insertion/Removal/Bailout
  
  
  • Medical management of critically ill patients
  
  
  
  


• Support structural heart procedures in Hybrid OR/Cath Lab settings.

Qualifications:

• Must be Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery.


• BLS Certification required.


• Kentucky Medical License preferred; candidates willing to obtain a license will be considered.


• Clean background check required.


• Experience with Impella support (Insertion/Removal/Bailout) is necessary.


• Familiarity with structural heart support in Hybrid OR/Cath Lab settings is essential.


• Availability for one of the specified date ranges is a must.

Licensure and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery - Required


• BLS Certification - Required


• Kentucky Medical License - Preferred (willing to consider candidates needing to obtain a license)


• Clean background check - Required
