Locum - Surgery: Orthopedic - MD/DO

Job Title: Locum - Physician - Surgery - Orthopedic

Summary: Join a dedicated team in Kearney, Nebraska at a Level II Trauma Center providing orthopedic surgery coverage. This role focuses on in-hospital care with no office hours, ensuring a dynamic environment focused on patient-centered care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage orthopedic Level II trauma call.


• Perform surgical cases as needed.


• Provide general orthopedic care and fracture treatment.


• Collaborate with ED and OR staff to ensure quality patient outcomes.


• Handle on-call duties, including callbacks as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedics.


• Completion of an Orthopedic Residency.


• Clean malpractice history preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Current Nebraska Medical License (highly preferred) or IMLC.


• DEA Certification required.


• ATLS Certification is highly preferred.
