Locum - Urology - MD/DO

Job Opportunity: Locum Urologist in Pendleton, OR

Summary: Join a dedicated team at a community hospital located in the beautiful city of Pendleton, Oregon. This position offers a unique opportunity for a Urologist to work in both hospital and clinic settings for up to 12 months, starting in December. You will provide care to a diverse patient population while enjoying the support of a skilled medical team and a welcoming community.

Job Responsibilities:

• Attend to clinic patients and manage hospital admissions and emergencies.


• Perform a variety of surgical procedures including, but not limited to, cystoscopy, hydrocelectomy, and prostate biopsy.


• Maintain an active patient schedule, seeing a minimum of 17 patients daily in the clinic.


• Participate in 24-hour on-call duty, providing surgical and emergency care as needed.


• Collaborate with clinic medical assistants and perioperative nurses for optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Urology (preferred), or Board Eligibility if a recent graduate.


• Completion of an accredited residency program in Urology.


• A clean malpractice history is highly preferred.


• Availability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet patient load expectations.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Oregon State License (preferred, but candidates in the process of obtaining will be considered).


• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).


• Current DEA registration (required).
