Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Urology

Summary: Join a dedicated team at a Level II Trauma Center in Kearney, Nebraska, providing urology call coverage. This medical facility is well-equipped and staffed to handle various urological emergencies and surgeries, ensuring that patients receive top-notch care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Cover Urology calls and receive handoff from Urologists when appropriate.


• Perform general urology procedures as required.


• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation.


• Work alongside surgery nurses and techs on call to provide efficient patient care.


• Participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation, including possible callbacks.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology (mandatory).


• Clean malpractice history (highly preferred).


• Case logs from the last 2 years required for consideration.


• Valid Nebraska medical license (highly preferred).


• Availability at the time of name clear (mandatory).

License and Certification Requirements:

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.


• DEA license for prescribing controlled substances.


• State license to practice in Nebraska.
