Job Summary:

SPL is growing and is currently looking for a Login Technician in Round Rock, TX. The Login Technician must be team oriented, proactive, and goal driven. This position is responsible for receiving samples and entering sample information into the LIMS system. Will use independence and judgment to recognize and resolve problems within established policies and procedures and is accountable for the quality, timeliness and accuracy of own work.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receiving samples from customers, couriers, shipping, field technicians, etc.;
• Entering sample information, details, and required analysis into LIMS system accurately;
• Labeling samples, and storing in appropriate locations;
• Preparing sample kits for customers;
• Processing outbound shipments;
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Familiarity with basic chemistry preferred;
• Basic computer skills (database/spreadsheet data entry);
• Ability to lift heavy sample coolers.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Relocation:

This position is not eligible for relocation.

Travel Requirements:

This position does not require travel.

Work Schedule:

This position will work 8 hours, Monday-Friday in the Round Rock, TX Office. This position is subject to overtime availability to meet deadlines.
