Logistician III, Senior

SSI needs to add Logistician III, Senior to support our current list of services provided for the U.S. Navy. 

This position is established in support of the Aerial Targets Program Office, PMA-208, and your duties will include assisting the Assistant Program Manager for Logistics (APML) and Product Support Manager (PSM) with the accountability and record keeping of Operating Material and Supplies (OM&S).

PMA-208 provides threat representative aerial targets for fleet training and weapons systems test and evaluation and realistic decoys of strike aircraft to deceive and saturate enemy integrated air defense systems (IADS)

Your key duties will be to: 

• Conduct proper management and accountability of property upon receipt, delivery, and acceptance on behalf of applicable program office.
• Ensure changes to the property records for all transactions are generated as required (e.g., loan, loss, damage, disposal, inventory adjustments, item modification, transfer, sale) and retain appropriate support documentation (e.g., DD Form 250, DD Form 200, DD Form 1348-lA, DD Form 1149).
• Monitor the acquisition, storage, utilization, transfer, and disposal of property.
• Identifying and properly and uniquely marking property received and/or issued, as appropriate.
• Issuing custody or similar documents for all property assigned to an individual or organization for use off base.
• Collecting and loading receipts into an approved Accountable Property System of Record, e.g., the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning system (Navy ERP).
• Responding to reporting requirements.
• Supporting Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) efforts.

Required Qualifications

Education: BS or BA degree: Working towards Professional Logistics Certification.

ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION:  

An additional two (2) years of experience working in direct support of Defense life-cycle logistics can be substituted for a BS or BA degree.

Experience: Of the at least 10 years’ experience, at least six (6) years’ experience in defense life cycle (acquisition) logistics. 

Pay range is $46.04 per hour to $51.01 per hour
