Logistics Analyst

Position Summary:
As a Logistics Analyst in Crane, IN, you will provide support for Supply Support Services across acquisition Product Life Cycles. You will provide support for the development and implementation of Supply Support strategies that satisfy the operational availability requirements that include Supply Support Plan, Sparing Levels, Supply Chain Management, Asset Management Planning, Interim Support, and Automatic Identification Technology.

You will participate and complete follow up tasking resulting from provisioning meetings to ensure the adequacy of existing provisioning and allowance documentation and ensures these reflect the product baseline and maintenance plan. You will develop provisioning technical documentation and allowance recommendations for new construction or engineering changes to the product baseline.

Clearance Required:

• Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret security clearance

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for defining, analyzing and solving complex logistics support problems
• Uses statistical analysis, develop quantitative models to simulate real-life problems, devise possible solutions, work with management to determine the most effective approach and aid in implementation.
• Use analyses and planning to focus on system supportability objectives through consideration of maintenance, inventory, Client, support equipment, training, transportation, facilities, computer support, technical data and design interface
• Familiar with a wide variety of logistics concepts, practices, and procedures
• May lead and direct the work of more junior contractor employees
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is desired
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

Required Education, Skills, and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a logistics, business, management, or technical field
• Jr. Logistics Analyst: 0 - 1 years in a related position
• Sr. Logistics Analyst: 7+ years in a related position

Physical Demands and Expectations:

• Regular physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting (up to 30 pounds), and standing; occasional prolonged sitting
• Ability to speak, read, hear and write, with or without assistance
• Ability to use phone and computer systems, copier, fax and other office equipment
