Location: Gulfport, MS

Position: Logistics Analyst (Journeyman)

Overview: ITC Defense is looking for a Journeyman Logistician to support multiple Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) International Program Managers and Assistant Program Managers for Logistics (APML) and the International Sustainment Center (ISC) by providing analysis, coordination, and recommendations regarding the twelve Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements during an international program’s life cycle and warehousing logistics support. Experience can be in the areas of International Programs Logistics, Program Analytics and Management, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Warehousing Logistics, and Information Systems Technology. 

Responsibilities
Support could be in any combination of (but not limited to) the following general areas:
  • Perform full spectrum warehousing logistics support services at the ISC for NAVAIR SSCO Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Partners, International Cooperative Programs, Non-Standard Partnerships, and Building Partner Capacity (BPC) arrangements.
  • Perform Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) studies, analysis, and evaluations for various international programs which requires thorough technical competence, strong analytical abilities, and a broad perspective on international logistics.
  • Address program requirements in international logistics, devising unique approaches for establishing cooperative support arrangements with U.S. security assistance partners.
  • Support the efforts and actions of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Case Manager/Program Managers/Team Leads, utilizing your knowledge of program development and execution to analyze challenging technical and program management problems, recommending insightful and innovative solutions.
  • Assist the Program Office in new business acquisition as well as FMS or Security Cooperation case development, implementation, and follow-on support activities, specifically relating to warehousing logistics support.
  • Provide analysis support and track program/project status, schedules, and manage workload tasking for the ISC in support of program offices.
  • Track the implementation of required corrective actions and milestone accomplishments and evaluate progress on a continuing basis to determine problem areas and recommend solutions. 
  • Utilize Navy Program of Record databases and programs in support of ISC Customers.
  • Attend Program Management Reviews, Technical Coordination Meetings, conferences, briefings and other significant events occurring in CONUS, as required.
  • Perform the duties related to warehousing logistics support services of the ITC Project Officer assigned in their absence.
  • Other duties as required to include, but not limited to, on site management of future ITC Contract Support Service Personnel at the ISC in Gulfport, MS.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Active Department of Defense Secret or Interim Secret Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and greater than three (3) years of work experience in a field related to FMS, logistics, program management, or a technical or business analysis discipline related to acquisition or life cycle management. Additional years of experience can be used to offset the degree requirement.
