POSITION: Logistics Analyst


LOCATION: Stafford, VA


STATUS: Full time


SCHEDULE: On site

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Experience: 5-10 years of related experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Management



  • Citizenship and Clearance: U.S. Citizen with Active Secret Clearance



  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% 

  • Experience with Marine Corps Systems Command



  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Strong problem-solving skills; Ability to work independently or with a team





DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Significant Experience: MCSC CSS (FARS).




  • Training: Defense Acquisition University courses (Defense Acquisition Management Policies and
    Procedures).



PRIMARY DUTIES:


Oversee the logistics and management of the Fuel Automated Reporting System (FARS) acquisition process.


Contribute to the development and enhancement of FARS hardware and software solutions.


Collaborate with third-party vendors to evaluate design proposals and establish installation requirements.


Provide on-site support and training during exercises and installations at Fleet Marine Corps units.


Collaborate with Program Management teams to ensure alignment on cost, schedule, and performance objectives, maintaining consistent and achievable metrics.


Coordinate, facilitate, and participate in meetings, conferences, and exercises to support FARS operational initiatives.


Provide expert support for FARS-related acquisitional, operational, logistical, and cybersecurity opportunities.


Coordinate Program Office acquisition requirements and deliverables across multiple competencies to achieve FARS milestone objectives.


Forecast, create and distribute acquisition deliverables and quantifiable/qualifiable metrics to internal and external stakeholders.


Facilitate, advise and coordinate Program office objectives for cost, schedule and performance demands across governmental and commercial interests.
