Primary function: Work directly with the Field Operations Manager to oversee and maintain the company’s fleet of vehicles ensuring proper maintenance, safety compliance, and efficiency. Indirect work assignments from Sr. Asset Manager and Maintenance Manager.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Vehicles
Coordinate vehicle assignments and temporary assignments for STX-STT travelers.
Schedule and manage regular vehicle and equipment inspections and maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure reliability
Manage fleet-related documentation including registrations, insurance, and compliance with local regulations.
Coordinate and schedule vehicle repairs
Maintain accurate records of logistics operations, fleet usage, property acquisitions, leases, and maintenance schedules.
Misc.
Assist Maintenance Manager with JBC properties as requested by Sr. Asset Manager
Ensure vehicles are appropriately branded and in good visual condition
Manage police reports, insurance claims and repair estimates in the event of vehicle accident
Develop relationships with vehicle related vendors (Metro, Toyota, HH, Tire kingdom, Echo Valley, etc.) and establish a monthly meeting schedule and agenda to review invoices, needs, etc.
Assist with onboarding new hires regarding fleet responsibilities.
Assist Field Operations Manager as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s License
Ability to conduct equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance tasks.
Strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices when operating heavy equipment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in various weather conditions and challenging environments
Previous experience in construction or other related industries.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 75 lbs.
Ability to operate equipment for extended periods and work in outdoor, potentially hazardous environments.
Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and physical strength, such as equipment inspection and maintenance.
