The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a forklift certification, prioritize safety, demonstrate organizational skills, and work efficiently to contribute to the success of our logistics operations.

Responsibilities

Forklift Operation:

Utilize forklifts for the loading and unloading of materials and products.
Ensure safe and efficient handling of goods, following established safety protocols.
Maintain a valid forklift certification.

Safety Prioritization:

Prioritize safety in all aspects of logistics operations.
Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations, contributing to a secure work environment.

Organization and Inventory Management:

Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas.
Assist in conducting regular inventory checks and audits.

Timely and Accurate Processing:

Work efficiently to meet deadlines and maintain a timely workflow.
Collaborate with team members to ensure the accurate and on-time processing of shipments.

Communication and Collaboration:

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory levels, shipment status, and any issues that may arise.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address logistics-related challenges.

Equipment Maintenance:

Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse or logistics area.

Qualifications

Forklift certification with practical experience in forklift operation.
Prior experience in logistics or warehouse operations is preferred.
Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work in a timely and efficient manner.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
