Responsibilities

• Identify all Purchase Orders with outstanding bookings in the automated booking system (Infor Nexus)
• Partner with Ocean Contract and NVOCC forwarders, for allocation of space and confirmation of secured space
• Partner with Production Department to obtain their approval of outstanding bookings in OMB system
• Obtain multiple air quotes from forwarders when Production Department request air 
• Create air quote matrix chart, and present to Production for Delta Executive Air Approval
• Look up vessel schedules for Production on future ex-factory dates
• Track shipments
• Maintain Shipment Log
• Notify ASN’s in Movex (ERP system)
• Partner with Shipper on issues with documents and ASNs
• Partner with IT Dept with any IT related issue with ASN
• Special projects as needed e.g. duty drawback knowledge and first sale shipments a plus

• Minimum of 3 years of Import Logistics experience
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to stay focused and maintain concentration over extended periods

This a hybrid role, with 4 days in our Secaucus, NJ office 

PAY RATE: $58,000/yr-$62,000/yr
