Logistics Coordinator

At Holganix, we revolutionize the way the world grows by manufacturing and distributing a liquid microbial solution (think of it as a probiotic for soil) to primarily farmers (but also landscapers, golf courses, and performance turf users) across America and Canada. Our solution dramatically increases soil health, ultimately improving crop yield and reducing the need for other inputs like fertilizer, pesticides, and water. Additionally, our solution significantly impacts carbon sequestration in the soil and improves the carbon intensity score of a crop.

Job Description: 

We are seeking an organized and proactive Logistics Coordinator with experience in Fishbowl inventory management software to join our team. This role is essential to ensure smooth operations, efficient supply chain management, and outstanding service to our partners and customers. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Order Fulfillment: Coordinate order processing by entering relevant information into CRM and ERP software systems. Confirming with the Sales team that the order was processed and is being forward to the warehouse. Organizing shipping schedules according to Customer needs. Working with freight carriers scheduling LTL and FTL shipments.  
• Coordinate shipping and delivery schedules: Ensure timely and accurate shipments. You will be expected to call customers to acquire information and communicate expected delivery dates. Coordinate and prepare shipments to external clients or offsite facilities, ensuring paperwork is meticulously completed. 
• Problem Solving: Address logistical challenges with a creator mindset, proposing and implementing solutions to improve efficiency. 
• Record Keeping: Keeping a highly detailed record of events during logistical processes. When items leave the warehouse, when they are delivered and detailed notes of customer requests and needs. Filing disputes with carriers when items are damaged during transit. Carefully compare delivered products against packing slips, noting any discrepancies before accepting deliveries with a target for 100% accuracy. 
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with production, sales, and customer service teams to align logistics with organizational goals. Support the production team by managing materials as needed. Participate in regular inventory checks, including conducting cycle counts. Engage in any additional tasks assigned by your supervisor. 

• Proven experience with Fishbowl inventory management software or similar software. 
• 2+ years in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. 
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on win-win outcomes. 
• Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
