Logistics Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Develop streamlined logistics processes for both internal and external operations, integrating principles of lean manufacturing.
Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate process requirements effectively, utilizing data-driven insights and industry best practices.
Strategize to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, solve logistical challenges, and lower operational costs.
Execute the implementation of optimized material handling flows and associated physical and digital workflows.
Establish standardized processes, define operator guidelines, and optimize material distribution routes, supported by relevant performance indicators.
Utilize robust data analysis skills to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design workstations aligned with internal flow strategies, ensuring seamless operations on the factory or warehouse floor.
Demonstrate expertise in logistics packaging, inventory management, and their impact on the supply chain.
Contribute to the creation of a facility layout based on the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) approach, facilitating just-in-time deliveries.

Additional Responsibilities:

Liaise with component suppliers to ensure adherence to logistics requirements during inventory shipments, including understanding ASN data structures and packaging specifications.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with factory standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency in essential computer applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and PowerBI.
Excellent communication, planning, organizational, and presentation skills.
Proficient in AutoCAD software.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including rotating shifts and occasional weekends.

Salary Range: $55,000-60,000
