Position Overview
The Logistics Engineer I will plan and execute the movement, loading, and sustainment of UAS platforms in austere and maritime environments. You will partner with other government organizations, commands, and agencies to ensure seamless deployment, sustainment, and replenishment of test assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage UAS platform loading, weight, and balance calculations
- Coordinate CONUS and OCONUS logistics support and transportation
- Develop and refine logistics procedures and standard operating procedures
- Interface with in‑theater logistics partners to secure site support
- Oversee resupply of consumables for live‑fly events
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, industrial engineering, or related field—or equivalent experience
- Minimum three years of military or commercial logistics experience with aviation platforms
- Proven ability to calculate weight/balance and perform cargo planning
- Experience supporting deployments to austere or maritime theaters
- Willingness to travel CONUS and OCONUS as required
Desired Skills & Certifications
- JT&E or operational‑test logistics support experience
