What you’ll do

As a Logistics General Laborer (Outbound), you’ll be at the heart of operations - right on the floor where materials take shape. 
Your day-to-day:

The General Laborer – Outbound Operations supports safe and efficient outbound logistics by performing rail, trailer, paperwork, material handling, and housekeeping activities. This role requires forklift certification and active coordination with Technical Trainers and Supervisors.

• Rail spotting and coordination in accordance with outbound procedures.


• CID paperwork processing and material movement.


• Strapping and matting outbound loads.


• Trailer and railcar inspections following safety and compliance standards.


• YardView or rail coordination tasks assigned.


• General cleaning and housekeeping duties.


• Support and help where needed across outbound operations.


• Operate a forklift safely once certified, including movement of outbound materials.
  

  Safety & Compliance

  
  


• Follow all facility safety policies including PPE, Lockout/Tagout, and hazard reporting.


• Participate in safety training and maintain adherence to outbound safety procedures.


• Ensure strapping and matting are performed according to standards.


• Report unsafe conditions immediately.

Training & Assessment

• Forklift certification is required for this role.


• All training and assessments are conducted by Technical Trainers.


• Final approval and sign-off are issued by the Supervisor.

• Ability to obtain forklift certification.


• Ability to work safely around equipment and rail operations.


• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
