Logistics Management Support (EODTEU TWO) - NAS Key West

Rigid Tactical is seeking a skilled and experienced Logistics Management Support Specialist to manage and execute a wide range of logistical and administrative functions. This role is supporting EOD GRP II and is based at NAS Key West, Boca Chica, and requires a highly organized professional to ensure the efficient operation of EOD training and exercises.

Qualifications:

• 
  

  Experience: A minimum of two years of Naval expeditionary logistics experience is required.

  
  


• 
  

  Management Experience: A minimum of four years of management experience in military operations or logistics and associated planning efforts.

  
  


• 
  

  Licensing: A current Material Handling Equipment license for operating forklifts up to 25K and other equipment.

Responsibilities:

  Logistical and Material Coordination:

  
  
  
  
  • 
    

    Collaborate with EODGRU TWO units to schedule and coordinate logistics.

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Operate licensed forklifts for the loading and unloading of materials, equipment, vehicles, and boats.

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Manage shipping and receiving of all materials, equipment, and vehicles for EODGRU TWO training exercises.

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Coordinate with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO) for the proper reuse, recycling, and disposal of excess equipment.

  Administrative and Reporting:

  
  
  
  
  • 
    

    Maintain and update the department calendar on a daily basis.

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Screen incoming correspondence and directives, initiating administrative action as needed.

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Track and execute daily administrative reporting requirements in accordance with all governing policies.

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Maintain a master library of all applicable references, ensuring monthly reviews and updates.

    
    
  
  
  
  


• 
  

  Facility and Project Management:

  
  
  
  
  • 
    

    Identify facility shortfalls and take appropriate action for repairs through NAS Key West.

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Represent EODTEU TWO in meetings with EODGRU TWO N43 to resolve facility issues and plan for emergent repairs.

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Assist in the oversight of multiple facility construction projects, including daily site visits and interaction with contractors to ensure compliance with all building codes.
