This fast paced role at Bliss Manufacturing in Ponca City, Oklahoma will consist of moving raw material, work in process and finished goods using forklifts and cranes around our 20 acre manufacturing facility.  In addition to moving material, this role will consist of making sure that; product is properly labeled, quantity is correct, and both inventory moves and material issued to jobs are recorded in SAP.  This role will also support shipping/receiving and the parts warehouse.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Include:

• Release shop packets, issue and pull raw materials
• Match shop packet with actual parts, move to next operation
• Label product as needed to insure inventory accuracy
• Consolidate inventory from multiple locations to one, organizing space available for incoming freight
• Pull inventory based on customer demand. Package items and prep for shipment to customer
• Move inventory using forklift, and overhead crane.  Some lifting is required
• Cross-functional collaboration with other departments to understand timeline of machine final assembly and potential challenges for completion
• Help the team achieve aftermarket shipment goals as defined by monthly sales targets
• Build transportation skids for machines
• Wrap machines to prepare for shipment, requires operation of heat gun
• Build crates as needed based on dimensions and weights
• Maintain safe and clean working environment
• Wear proper personal protective equipment
• Demonstrate accountability and teamwork both on the job and in attendance ongoing
• General tasks or duties as assigned

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to follow directions and receive feedback from others
• Ability to safely operate a fork truck, overhead crane, drill and saw
• May occasionally lift 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation, good attendance and a strong work ethic will be keys to success in this role
• Willingness to learn SAPB1 software management systems for inventory tracking
