Job Description:

JSL is seeking a Logistics Specialist that will be supporting Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme (NSWC PHD) at Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach, CA. The primary responsibility is Ammunition Logistics Administration and Document Quality Assurance.  Ordnance logistics experience not necessary but highly desired. Familiar with NAVSUP P-805, NAVSUP P-724 and NAVSEA OP-5 procedures and requirements a plus. 

The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, expediting, researching, monitoring, and/or evaluating logistics operations that involve ordnance reclassification, sentencing and storage ashore.

Requirements

Minimum Quali?cations:

•  Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance level Secret
•  Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills. JSL representative and customer liaison
• Follows established SOPs and work instructions and strives towards continuous improvement
• Updates inventory records and maintains acceptable inventory levels
• Ensures shipping documentation is prepared and supplied to couriers
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3 or more years in coordinating, tracking, and scheduling

Preferred Quali?cations:

• Ordnance Logistics experience

• Fleet sentencing experience

• Ordnance management experience

• Ordnance reclassification experience

• Microsoft O?ce experience

Security Clearance:

Applicants must have an active security clearance and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD government-granted security clearance. Individuals will be subject to a background investigation including but not limited to, criminal history, employment and education veri?cation, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
