Logistics Specialist - DOD

INNOVIM is seeking a Logistics Specialist who supports North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) on the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II).

The candidate will:

• Have a basic understanding of logistics operations, including key warehouse functions such as receiving, issuing, tagging materials, and ensuring all materials are handled accurately and on time.


• Be responsible for assisting with inventory tracking and helping to meet deadlines across all sites involved in the NISSC II contract. May occasionally need to make informed decisions in line with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).


• Have regular communication with customers, clear communication and the ability to explain reports and spreadsheets is important.


• Have strong time management and flexibility.


• Be able to work well in a team and support the coordination of tasks to ensure smooth logistics operations under the NISSC II contract

Basic Requirements:

• Must have 2 or more, years of general experience


• Must have 6 months or more, years of direct experience


• Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance


• Stock the product in the finished goods stock room in the correct location


• Ability to prioritize duties to meet deadlines


• Must be able to locate and annotate (in tracking programs) all required items.


• Packaging orders and working proper shipment of items to meet deadlines


• Assembly of various products such as starter kits, development kits, etc.


• Receive returned material "RMA's" into the system and forward paperwork and product to the appropriate person or department


• Must be able to perform weekly cycle counts and the annual physical inventory.


• Must know how to escort personnel in classified areas. (Must be knowledgeable in DoD escorting policies and procedures for escorting uncleared personnel in classified areas)

This position is expected to pay $55,000 - $65,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
