  • This team is looking for someone with a bachelor's degree and 4 years of related experience or no degree and 10 years of related experience. (not flex on years)
• Warehouse/logistics experience
• Professional Appearance/sharp candidate
• Experience with excel or some sort of tracking
• Ok with 20% travel

Job Description:

A federal client of Insight Global is looking for a logistics specialist to join their team. This team is working in a medical warehouse environment supporting a large government agency. This person will be responsible for keeping up with medical inventory- insuring inventory is not expired or damaged in any way and or removing expired or damaged material. This person could travel up to 50% of the time (100% reimbursable) to various locations in the U.S.A to track and replace inventory. This person will be expected to communicate with state officials, hospital leadership, and other high-level individuals so this team is looking for someone who is professional and sharp. 

Day To Day:

The vendor shall provide services in support of the following functions. The vendor shall:

               · Perform materiel management functions and data entry required to maintain inventory and

financial records.

               · Develop and maintain reporting system or program measures of effectiveness in the support of

customer requirements and readiness objectives.

               · Ensure that the items are packaged, labeled, shipped, and delivered in accordance with the

requirements.

               · Assist in managing critical aspects of the development, production, deployment and integrated

logistics support of systems, supplies and equipment.

               · Assist in day-to-day operations of inventory management.

               · Submit regular logistics performance summaries and reports to FMS Team Lead.

               · Be responsible for meeting inventory management’s goals and objectives.

               · Assist with all supply chain logistics operations including: warehousing, packaging and

               shipping/receiving..

               · Perform visual inspections for corrosion and/or damage on temperature monitoring equipment.

               · Operate an analog phone line test set and temperature standard thermometer to maintain cGMP requirements.

               · Be responsible for assisting in planning and conducting FMS annual inventory audits.
