Logistics Technician

Job Description:

What we’re looking for 

• Knowledge of customs procedures (document verification, customs compliance)
• Familiarity with international trade (Incoterms, import/export documents)
• Experience with the use of ERP (experience with SAP is an asset)
• Experience with handling of electronic equipment are desirable
• Very good computer literacy and understanding of databases, email, and spreadsheets.
• Good verbal and written reporting skills.
• Good ability to understand packing requirements and taking measurements accurately for size and weight.
• Good general fitness is required, as some controlled lifting is part of the job. The ability to understand and observe proper Health and Safety practices is essential.
• Excellent attention to detail to produce a high-rate of ‘right-first-time’ results in all work.
• Ability to learn new skills, technologies, and ideas rapidly.
• Ability to work to within deadlines and under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude at all times.
