Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT)

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team for a full-time position in Los Angeles, CA. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing occupational therapy services to students in K-12 schools, collaborating with educators, and contributing to the overall well-being of our school munity.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in a school-based setting.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to implement strategies that support students' academic and functional goals.
• Adapt and modify classroom environments to enhance students' participation and independence.
• Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal-setting for students.
• Provide education and training to school staff and parents on occupational therapy strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and progress reports.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• California state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Previous experience in K-12 schools is preferred.
• Strong munication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in school-based occupational therapy.
