Earnings Potential:


The wage range for this role is $20.00 to $23.00. This is just one part of our total rewards package which additionally includes performance bonus for eligible roles, commissions, and competitive benefits.

Job Responsibilities:



  • Ensures all vehicles are lined-up, mirror hangers, disclosure, information labels, license plates and frames and labels are all properly displayed.

  • Installs mirror hangers in vehicles.

  • Parks vehicles on lot in correct area when all recondition is complete.

  • Reports any problems with inventory (flat tires, dead battery, body damage, etc.) and rectifies if able. Refreshes dirty vehicles (washes, vacuums, fills gas tank, etc.)

  • Coordinates and merchandises all wholesale and retail operations with the Used Car Manager.

  • Maintains appearance and organization of vehicles on the lot and in storage areas.

  • Stages, move, and park vehicles for merchandising, photo capture, and display rotation.

  • Prepares vehicles for photography (wipe down, align wheels, proper lighting/angles); photographs vehicles in pre-reconditioning status and after FLR completion; uploads promptly to inventory systems.

  • Installs and maintains window stickers, recon stickers, windshield clings, OAC year/NC stickers and other identifiers.

  • Assists with vehicle movement between service/recon/sales, coordinates keys and cleanliness before vendor appointments.

  • Keeps lot entrances, staging areas, and photo bay clean and safe; restocks paper mats and related materials for sales.

  • Cleans lot, sidewalks and walkways, removing snow, weeds and debris as necessary. Drives vehicles to and from off premise events and vendors as needed.

  • Assists with snow removal as needed based on direction from management. 

  • Moves vehicles as directed by the Used Car Manager or General Manager.

  • Picks up vehicles from and delivers vehicles to customers as directed by management.

  • Maintains a professional appearance.

  • Performs other duties and projects as requested by the Used Car Manager. 


 


Qualifications:



  • Must be self-motivated with a positive attitude. Must have a strong work ethic.

  • Must have the ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction on given assignments.

  • Must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must be detail-oriented, organized and reliable.

  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.

  • Ability to use a smartphone/tablet camera and basic inventory apps for photo upload.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license required for essential job functions and travel.  Must have the ability to operate vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions.

  • Travel to other Company locations as requested along with our manufacturer’s training and other relevant training courses may be required.

  • Previous dealership lot attendant experience or reconditioning experience preferred. 

  • Photography experience preferred.
