Lot Attendant/Porter

WHAT IS GOING ON?
We have a successful sales and service team and need a bright candidate to fill a lot attendant position to help us keep up with the high demand for our products and services.  This is a great entry-level position to get into the automotive service industry.  

WHAT DO YOU GET?

• Money, of course:  This is an entry-level position that starts at $12.00 an hour with a 40-hour work week.  


• Training, Tools, & Career Path:  The Lot Porter Role is THE entry-level position in our company that opens the door to sales and service advisor positions.  So yes, we need a porter; however, long-term, we are looking for our next salesperson, our next technician, or our next service advisor.  We provide all of the training and tools you will need to get started, even if you have never done work like this before.  It is our desire to invest in high-performers that fit our core values.  We will give you a career path that will allow you to move up into leadership positions that can really offer a great lifestyle and career for years to come.  We anticipate a promotion within the first 9 months.

WHAT ARE WE SEARCHING FOR?
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work to help us keep our inventory and facilities in proper order.  You don't need experience, just a great attitude.  The ideal person would be an upbeat person who connects with others easily, desires good work, and is hardworking.  We are looking for some simple qualifications such as:  

• Must be 21 or older and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

WHAT DO YOU DO?

• 
  
  Maintain inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary.
  
  


• 
  
  Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
  
  


• 
  
  Keep lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
  
  


• 
  
  Drive vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
  
  


• 
  
  Make key tags for and handle the inventory of vehicles.
  
  


• 
  
  Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations.
  
  


• 
  
  
  Perform other duties as assigned.
