Lot Porter

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lot Porter to join our team at Sandy Sansing Ford Lincoln. The Lot Porter is responsible for maintaining the appearance and organization of the dealership’s vehicle inventory, ensuring a clean and professional environment for customers and staff. This role involves physical activity, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills to support the dealership’s daily operations.

Responsibilities

  Vehicle Organization: Arrange and park vehicles on the lot in an orderly manner to maximize space and ensure easy access for customers and staff.

  
  


• 
  

  Lot Maintenance: Keep the dealership lot clean and free of debris, including sweeping, trash removal, and ensuring walkways are clear.

  
  


• 
  

  Vehicle Preparation: Wash, vacuum, and clean vehicles to maintain a polished appearance for display and customer delivery.

  
  


• 
  

  Inventory Support: Assist with inventory management by moving vehicles to and from service areas, storage lots, or other designated locations.

  
  


• 
  

  Customer Assistance: Greet customers, provide directions, and assist with basic inquiries while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.

  Vehicle Inspection: Check vehicles for visible damage or issues and report findings to the appropriate department.

  
  


• 
  

  Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned, such as running errands, transporting vehicles, or assisting with dealership events.

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience: No prior experience required, but experience in automotive or customer service environments is a plus.
