Low Voltage Estimator

Seeking a Low Voltage/Security Estimator for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Willow Grove, Pa.

This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, and weekly pay!

Salary is starting at $50,000 - $75,000 per year (based on experience) 

Responsibilities:

• Attend bid meetings and walkthroughs
• Update CRM software with client information and deal information and stages
• Interpret bid documents, plans and specifications
• Review bid documents, pricing and proposals with Owner
• Review any scheduling needs and installation map finalizations with Operations
• Process and submit any bid forms, proposals and bid prequalification’s
• Develop preliminary designs and job schedules/expectations and labor and material rates
• Maintain a win rate on average of 30%
• Follow up with open bids along with lost bids for feedback
• Adapting to different clientele and job environment changes day to day
• Presenting yourself in a professional and clean manner both physically and verbally
• Review and identify bidding opportunities including but not limited to bid portals
• Analysis of job costing versus estimates on bids won and completed
• Analysis of failed bids for growth and improvement
• Build distributor relationships
• Must be accountable for all of your work completed and deadlines

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of estimating experience
• Must have access control and security experience
• Experience in bidding $10K+ in the electrical field, low voltage field, security solutions field, and construction field
• Must be comfortable cold calling and not relying only on email communication
• Valid Driver’s License and Reliable Vehicle
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening requirements
• Must be authorized to work in the US
