Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Low Voltage and Home Automation installer to join a team of technicians participating in the installation, programming, and maintenance of low voltage systems and home automation solutions. 

Key Accountabilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain low voltage systems, including structured wiring, audio/video systems, security systems, and home automation setups.
• Program and integrate home automation systems using platforms like Control4 or other leading brands (e.g., Crestron, Lutron, Savant, etc.).
• Perform wiring tasks such as running cables, terminating  connections, and ensuring compliance with electrical codes.
• Set up and configure Wi-Fi networks, including Ubiquiti  equipment, for optimal performance in residential and small commercial settings.

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities/Education:

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in low voltage systems and home automation installation.
• Proven experience with home automation systems (Control4 certification is a big plus) or familiarity with other brands like Crestron, Lutron, or Savant. Experience with comparable systems is also welcome.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces (e.g., attics, crawlspaces).
• Comfortable working at heights (e.g., ladders, scaffolding, man lifts) and using safety equipment.
• Willingness to travel to job sites as needed; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Significant overtime opportunities are available to meet project demands.
