Low Voltage Technician Apprentice

Holm Electric is looking for
a Low Voltage Technician Apprentice to join our growing team. This is an
entry-level role designed for someone motivated to learn, work hard, and build
a long-term career in the electrical and low-voltage industry.

As an Apprentice, you’ll gain
hands-on experience installing and supporting systems such as audio/video,
networking, security, smart home automation, and structured cabling. If you are
eager to learn, dependable, and ready to grow into a skilled technician, we
want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Assist
  with installation of low-voltage cabling and systems in residential and
  commercial environments.
  
• Learn
  to terminate, label, and test data, audio, and video cabling.
  
• Support
  senior technicians with setup and troubleshooting of systems including
  A/V, networking, and automation.
  
• Maintain
  a clean, organized work environment and follow all safety procedures.
  
• Take
  direction from project leads while actively developing technical knowledge
  and skills.
  
• Demonstrate
  a strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn every day.
  

Requirements

Qualifications

• High
  school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Strong
  interest in learning low-voltage systems and electrical work.
  
• Mechanical
  aptitude and ability to use basic hand/power tools.
  
• Excellent
  work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
  
• Ability
  to lift, climb ladders, and work in diverse environments (attics,
  crawlspaces, etc.).
  
• No
  prior experience required — training provided.
  
• Valid
  driver’s license and clean driving record.
