As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and health services to our assisted living and memory care residents. You will also be responsible for addressing the residents’ medical conditions, clinical needs, and other healthcare-related incidents that may occur in the community. On the floor, you will work alongside Caregivers, Med-techs, and two Nurse Administrators in a 71-room community.

Summary of Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer medications/treatments on EMAR per orders/policy.
• Order and check in medication when it is delivered by the pharmacy.
• As appropriate, prepare residents’ medications to accompany them on short-term absences from the community as allowed by the state.
• Document progress notes and any change in the status of residents.
• Complete resident treatments as ordered and scheduled.
• Occasionally assist with personal care and physical support. This may include assistance after a fall, assistance in transferring, assistance with bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, toileting, ambulation, grooming, etc.
• Additional responsibilities as requested by the Director of Nursing.

Requirements

• Active Practical Nursing License in Washington State
• Must be able to work in Bellevue, WA
