Job Description: LPN – Diabetic Management & Daily Insulin Administration
Location: Emerson, NJ
Schedule: Administer insulin daily by 10:00 AM

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide daily insulin administration and support for a diabetic patient in Emerson, NJ. The LPN will monitor blood glucose levels, administer insulin, and ensure the patient follows proper diabetic care guidelines.

Responsibilities:
• Check and document blood glucose levels daily.
• Administer insulin injections at 10:00 AM as prescribed.
• Monitor for symptoms of low or high blood sugar and notify the RN or physician as needed.
• Reinforce patient education on diet, medication compliance, and lifestyle choices.
• Maintain accurate medication administration records.
• Follow proper infection control procedures during injections.
• Report any concerns or changes in the patient’s condition to the supervising RN or physician.

Requirements:
• Active LPN license in New Jersey.
• Experience with diabetic care and insulin administration.
• Strong observation and documentation skills.
• Reliable and punctual to ensure timely daily insulin administration.
