LPN

Job Summary

The LPN will provide clinical support to the provider and patients, assisting in diagnosis and treatment of patient’s condition.  

Essential Functions:

• Obtain and document patient medical history, vital signs, provides basic medical data for provider and prepare patients for examinations .
• Provide clinical care as directed by provider and within licensing scope.
• Assist provider in performance of minor surgical diagnostic procedures and ancillary diagnostic examinations. 
• Call patients with physician instructions 
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and complete associated paperwork. 
• Clean and set up examination and treatment rooms between patients, ensure required levels of asepsis, and availability of appropriate instruments and equipment
• Other duties as assigned 

Education, Skills, and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required 
• 1+ year of outpatient experience preferably in the dermatology space 
• Licensed Practical Nurse required 
• Basic Cardiac Life Support required 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times.
