LPN - Infusion

Description

 We are looking for a dedicated and skilled LPN for our infusion center in a Private Rheumatology Practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and experience with infusion therapy. This role requires excellent clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and the ability to work both independently as well as part of a team. 

Requirements

• Current LPN License in the state of Virginia
• Experience and proficiency in administering IV medications and managing infusion equipment.
• Knowledge of medical documentation standards and practices.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to apply logical thinking and problem solving skills. 
• Work in a clinic setting 40hrs/week
• Administer Rheumatology and biologic medications via infusion and/or injection to patients as prescribed ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices. 
• Monitor patients during infusions, addressing any adverse reactions or complications promptly and providing immediate intervention as necessary.
• Educate patients on the infusion process and self-care.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately and in a timely manner. 
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures.
