Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Long-Term Care

Location: Utica, NY
Schedule: We are currently hiring for multiple 8-hour shifts to accommodate various schedules:

• Day Shift: 6:30 AM 2:30 PM
• Evening Shift: 2:30 PM 10:30 PM
• Night Shift: 10:30 PM 6:30 AM

Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: September 2, 2025
End Date: November 30, 2025
Hours: 37.5 hours/week
Employment Type: Contract
Pay:

• Travel LPNs: $1,780 - $1,830/week (gross)
• Local LPNs (within 75 miles): $40/hour (W2)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a reputable long-term care and rehabilitation facility in Utica, NY. This is a 13-week contract with the possibility of extension. Both local and travel candidates are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents in a 40-bed skilled nursing unit
• Float between units within the same facility as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records using PointClickCare (EMR)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patients' health goals
• Adhere to established nursing protocols, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Active LPN license in New York State
• BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• At least 1 year of recent experience in long-term care or rehab settings
• Willingness to float to all units
• Ability to work every other weekend

Local candidates within 75 miles are paid at the local hourly rate. Travel stipends available for those who qualify.
