LPN Memory Care Director (LifeStories Director)

IntegraCare , manager of Senior Living, Independent Living & Memory Care Communities, is looking for a dedicated, creative and caring individual to manage our Memory Care Program at our premier community, Exton Senior Living.

Responsibilities:

• Provide active and passive, group and individual activities that enhance the lives of the Residents, allowing them to play an active role in society.


• Develop, organize and implement a well rounded activities program that enhances the lives of the residents.


• Must have extensive knowledge of therapeutic recreational techniques and posses the ability to interact positively with outside organizations to promote positive community relations.


• Must display creativity, leadership skills, and motivational drive.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED is required ( a bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy or a similar field is strongly preferred ).


• LPN License 


• A minimum of one year prior experience in the Recreational Therapy field ( preferably Memory Care/Dementia specific ) is required ( preference will be given to those with experience in a supervisory/managerial role ).


• A valid driver's license is required with no more than two moving violations in a three-year period as determined by insurance industry standards.


• Gerontology experience is strongly preferred.


• CRS is preferred.
