LPN Night Supervisor (7PM - 7AM Shift)

We are seeking a compassionate, highly qualified full-time LPN Night Supervisor to join our team and deliver excellent care for our residents. The ideal candidate will have senior living experience (e.g., long-term care, assisted living, memory support) and a strong passion for working with an elderly population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with established care plans, promoting physical, personal, and emotional well-being to maintain maximum levels of self-care and independence.
• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff during night shifts, ensuring adherence to facility policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Perform resident assessments under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON), documenting changes in condition and reporting critical issues promptly to nursing and physician management.
• Administer medications, injections, and other authorized treatments; monitor and record vital signs, weights, and blood sugars.
• Implement restorative nursing techniques, including proper positioning, ADL training, and passive range of motion exercises.
• Assist residents with transfers, ambulation, and activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, oral care) using safe practices and equipment.
• Support resident admissions, discharges, and transitions, ensuring smooth coordination and accurate documentation.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for staff, providing guidance, training, and feedback to maintain high-quality care standards.

• High school diploma or GED and current LPN license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Minimum three (3) years of related experience in Assisted Living and/or Long-Term Care, including at least one (1) year of nursing supervisory experience.
• Current COVID-19 vaccination, CPR, and First Aid certification.
• ISP/UAI certification preferred; experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred.
• Ability to lift and assist residents (at least 50 lbs.) and perform physical tasks including sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing/pulling, and maintaining balance.
• Strong ability to assist residents safely with mobility, transfers, and daily activities while using proper body mechanics and equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to follow instructions accurately and communicate effectively with staff, residents, families, and visitors.
