Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Needed in Norwood, Ohio

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Norwood, OHto join our dynamic healthcare team. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients while ensuring their comfort and well-being. Job Description:

• Norwood, Ohio
• Caseload; 1:1 for 4th Grader (requires trach care & oxygen assistance)
• ~6 Hour Work Days
• $25-32 -Depending on qualifications & experience

Responsibilities:

• Perform nursing assessments and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and within scope of practice.
• Monitor patient vital signs and condition, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare providers.
• Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring continuity of care.
• Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records in accordance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean patient environment.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of best practices for patient care.

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Ohio.
• Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
• CPR certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
