Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) – School Setting

Temporary assignment for Gates- Chili School District

This is a 1:1- Will need to ride the bus with student and stay throughout the day- shift is 6:40a-2:50p

WorkFit Medical Staffing is looking for compassionate and dedicated LPNs or RNs to provide nursing care and support within a school environment. This role involves promoting student health and wellness while maintaining a safe and healthy school community.

Responsibilities:

• Provide first aid and emergency care to students as needed.
• Administer medications according to physician orders and school policies.
• Maintain accurate records of health-related visits and incidents.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health.
• Educate students and staff on health promotion and disease prevention.

• Current licensure as an LPN or RN in New York State.
• Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle medical emergencies calmly and effectively.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
